White House does away with cybersecurity coordinator role
The White House has eliminated the role of cybersecurity coordinator on the National Security Council. An aide to John R. Bolton, the new national security adviser, said the position wasn't now needed because lower-level officials had already made cybersecurity issues a “core function” of the president’s national security team.
