Elizabethtown, KY - Venminder, a vendor risk management software and managed services firm, have announced two new dates in 2019 for their popular three-day Third Party Risk Management Bootcamp. The event itself is held online over 3 days, with 2 hour sessions each day.
“Vendor risk management touches so many areas of expertise that many struggle to tie it all together. At Venminder, we have a goal to help those both responsible for or simply involved in third party risk,” said James Hyde, chief executive officer at Venminder. “This is now our fourth year of running this bootcamp and it’s definitely one of our most popular training events. Our attendees find that it’s a great way to get current on regulations and learn all the best practices and industry trends that can protect their organizations.”
The bootcamps are scheduled to run April 23-25, 2019 and September 17-19, 2019. Participants will learn from 10 different industry experts covering topics like due diligence, vendor cybersecurity preparedness, SOC reports, business continuity/disaster recovery planning, vendor financials, onsite visits, as well as third party risk management oversight trends and best practices.
“Today, having a program in place to manage and mitigate the risk associated with doing business with a third party is not only a sound business practice, it’s a regulatory expectation,” said Branan Cooper, chief risk officer at Venminder, who spearheads the bootcamp. “This event is truly valuable and packs a lot of information into a short time span across those three days. I’m very much looking forward to speaking alongside our great lineup of thought leaders.”
