Interagency Guidance on Third-Party Relationships: Risk Management - What It Means for Your TPRM Program
The Federal Reserve Board (the Board), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) collectively introduced the Interagency Guidance on Third-Party Relationships: Risk Management a little over two years ago. In June 2023, the guidance officially became effective – you’re expected to comply with this immediately.
The interagency guidance replaced the Board’s 2013 guidance, the FDIC’s 2008 guidance, and the OCC’s 2013 guidance and its 2020 frequently asked questions. It’s intended to provide a more uniform approach to how banking organizations should manage third-party relationships.
Now, it’s time to focus on the suggested next steps to comply with these agencies’ expectations. Watch this webinar that will walk through the new guidance and what it means for your organization’s third-party risk management program.
Watch now to learn:
- An overview of the guidance that is now in effect
- Suggested actions and recommendations to comply
- Considerations for your third-party risk management program
- Key takeaways
